It is with great sadness that the family of Marvin Clayton Smith (Big Marv) announces the passing of Marvin Smith on October 1, 2024, at the age of 50 years.
He was predeceased by his father Carol Vincent Smith. Marvin is survived by his mother Joyce Gordon, his children Tashika, Tanisha, Halo, and grandchild Amiyah. He also leaves his brothers Wayne, Steve, Carl, Easton, and Boris, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10:00 am at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with visitation to take place an hour prior. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street.
Marvin was a Jamaican brother who was very active in both the Jamaican and African communities in Winnipeg, Canada. He was a businessman and was also into showbiz, fashion and, entertainment.
