A Message from the Sierra Leone Association of Alberta (SLAA) former Secretary General - Mohamed Jalloh

Edmonton, Alberta. October 11, 2024.

As the Former Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Association of Alberta (SLAA),  I realized that there has been so much misinformation going around in our community regarding our executive and our time in office.

Dr. Conteh, our Former President, has been accused, disrespected, and humiliated for a lot of things that he did not do (sometimes, by the very people who voted "yes" on  executive decisions).

It is no secret that I am a close friend of Dr. Conteh, and I care about his well-being and image. Thus, Dr. Conteh and I have discussed this, and we are convinced that it is imperative for him to talk to the SLAA Community.

He will do so. This attempt is not to convince or to sway anybody in the community but to give you all a clear picture of what has transpired. We are all individuals of sound minds.

Therefore, It will be up to you all to listen, go back, recollect, evaluate your understanding, and make your informed decisions.

Thank you.
